旺（郭晉安飾）因智力比常人發展緩慢，自少在母親丁秀蓮（盧宛茵飾）的極力呵護下成長，父親只存在於他的童話世界裡，在他生活中最重要的人便是母親，還有他的兒時玩伴、匿稱為「老婆仔」的黃奇鳳（宣萱飾）。 旺出身屋，一眾老街坊，早已接受了他是個傻仔。閒時，旺在屋糖水舖裡工作，過著平淡的生活，他最大的心願就是等黃奇鳳從外國學成歸來，娶他的「老婆仔」。
