Láska na vlásku

Velká výpravná česko-slovenská koprodukční pohádka, která je inspirována oblíbeným příběhem Marka Twaina „Princ a chuďas“. Jednou za tisíc let se narodí dva stejní kluci, jejichž životy se propletou... a vše najednou visí na vlásku! Princ Matěj se na hradě, kde ho hlídají jako oko v hlavě, cítí jako vězeň a ze všeho nejvíc touží poznat život mimo královský dvůr. Otec ho navíc kvůli hrozící vojně nutí zasnoubit se s princeznou Beatrix, kterou ale princ nemiluje. Využije proto setkání s tulákem Tomášem, který jako by mu z oka vypadl. Vymění si proto navzájem oblečení a domluví se, že se na jeden den zamění...
