Marc, un adolescent sétois en quête d'identité, veut se rendre à Montpellier pour rencontrer Nathalie, sa sœur aînée, qu'on lui disait morte. Il contraint Gérard, un policier, de l'y conduire, sous la menace du pistolet de son beau-père. Au gré du voyage de retour vers Sète, ce trio improbable apprendra à se dévoiler et s'apprivoiser.
