身為消防烈士之子的張夢一，繼承父親的遺志，成為了濱江首支特勤中隊的中隊長。張夢一與童年鄰居江濤不期而遇，江濤作為基層中隊第一位女性指導員，卻遭遇了張夢一的“花式排擠”。在面對富二代叛逆小子富強和農村少年牛奮進等隊中出身迥異、性格鮮明的各色新兵時，兩人更因帶兵理念的不合而爆發激烈的衝突。與此同時，張夢一與富強同父異母的姐姐葉璐之間的戀情，在經歷短暫的蜜月期後，陷入了取捨兩難的境地。 當父輩犧牲的真相在張夢一的心中漸漸顯露時，他終於放下了既往的偏見與江濤攜手，率領特勤中隊這群青春熱血的消防戰士抵抗著災難的侵襲，他們始終不忘初心，用各自的血淚、真誠和情誼在天地之間寫出了一個個鏗鏘有力的“人”字。
