網媒編輯何家欣奉命接近「競風田徑社」挖掘醜聞，與跑步教練袁力結識。袁力因過去的憾事，避免和人建立關係，但他屢與家欣交集，漸走漸近。富商郭皇普之女郭貝兒懷着特殊目的，主動加入競風社；皇普卻成了競風社的贊助人，與袁力不斷角力。袁力受好友黎舜梵所託，照顧年少的兒子麥宇笙，二人逐步培養出師徒情誼，而舜梵與家欣原來曾有感情糾葛。舜梵及後因頑疾自暴自棄，袁力決意令他振作，同時亦審視自身，要重新踏上跑道……
