主演の荒牧慶彦ら2.5次元俳優が、ひたむきに夢を追い続けるお笑い芸人を演じる青春群像劇。寂れた劇場に“島流し”された8人の芸人たちが、それぞれの相方と共に困難を乗り越え、家族とも恋人とも親友とも違う“相方”という距離感が生みだす心の機微を描く。脚本はヨーロッパ企画の上田誠らが手掛ける。
