纪录片《山河新疆（第一季）》由新疆广播电视局、新疆广播电视台、新疆雅辞文化发展有限公司制作。以新疆地形为整体架构，将北部的阿尔泰山，南部昆仑山，中部的天山山脉，分别以三集《天山》《昆仑山》《阿尔泰山》为题，以生活在山河相间的城市、集镇上的人物故事相串连，用12个人物的不同人生故事，且以他们为代表，讲述了普通人对于幸福当下、对于美好未来的期冀与向往。
