ここは、めったにお客の訪れない、小さな街の本屋さん。今日もバイトさん（千葉雄大）と店長（門脇麦）が、店の方針をめぐってひと悶着。ジャンルも年代も言語もばらばらな個性的すぎるラインナップは、ちょっぴり偏った嗜好を持つ店長が選んだもの。そんな店長の暴走に巻き込まれながらも、しっかりとお店を支えるバイトさん。２人は、お店の再建に頭を悩ませるのですが、そんなさなかに見つけたのは、店長の亡きおばあちゃん（大方斐紗子）が残した「夢の本屋」についての記録。そこには、海外の魅力的なお店について紹介されていて・・・。果たして２人が見つけた答えとは！？
