An 11-year-old boy named Nick Martin (Joseph Dammann) and his family move into his grandmother's house. In an effort to make friends, Nick tells lies about an old man's house, which leads to bullies wrecking the house and Nick is forced to clean it up as punishment. His father helps him learn an important lesson about lying, elders, fear, speaking up and bullying.
