Season 12

Starting at the Historic Rock of Gibraltar we sail the Mediterranean coast to the Balearic islands in summer before we head on to Morocco and the Canary Islands to prepare for our first major ocean crossing on the new Distant Shores III. Making landfall in Antigua we meet up with SV Delos, explore tiny Saba and the leeward Caribbean before heading on to the Turks and Caicos and the fabulous Bahamas and some of the most beautiful stares in the world. Leaving the Bahamas before Hurricane Season we sail north to the Chesapeake Bay for seasonal maintenance and to avoid the storms. On south we sail up the river to Jacksonville, provision before sailing across the Gulf Stream to clear in to the Bahamas in West End in time for Christmas in the Bahamas. From the Bahamas we set off for a rough thousand mile passage to Panama where we prepare to cross the famous canal.
