Kritika prepares a birthday card for Colonel Shergill and gets it signed by Ishaan, Ashish and Jaya. Colonel waits for Shraddha's call. Shraddha does not call her father, due to lack of money. She does not have enough money to pay her rent. Shergill becomes upset, waiting for her call to wish him. Jetli comes to ask Shraddha for the rent. Kritika convinces Shergill to cut the cake. Shraddha manages to call her father to wish him on his birthday.
Shergill becomes happy after talking to his daughter, over the phone, and cuts the cake. Shraddha sings a birthday song for her father. Bhavna asks Shraddha to inform her family about her financial crisis. Kritika realises that Shraddha was upset, and asks Anand to meet her. Dhruv asks Shraddha if they can have Shergill's birthday cake. Shraddha makes a cake for him. Anand leaves for Mumbai and plans to meet Shraddha. He takes gifts for Shraddha and Dhruv.
Shraddha rehearses for her interview, with Dhruv. Jetli threatens her to pay the rent. Anand arrives at Shraddha's house. Shraddha forbids Dhruv from telling Anand about her interview. Anand questions her on seeing the house in a mess. Shraddha lies to him that they are shifting to another flat, bought by Bobby. Anand presents gifts to her and Dhruv. Kritika's mother, Kamini, comes home to wish Zorawar. Zorawar becomes upset when she speaks about Shraddha.
Anand becomes glad on thinking that Bobby is keeping Shraddha happy. As he goes to a nearby shop, Jetli comes with his men to vacate Shraddha's apartment. Shraddha goes downstairs to stop Anand from witnessing the same. However, Anand reaches home and finds the men vacating the house. Bhavna mistakes Anand for one of Jetli's men and tells him that Bobby left Shraddha and sold the house. She suggests Anand to take Shraddha home, along with him. Anand tells Kritika about Shraddha's condition.
Kritika asks Anand to take Shraddha home. She informs Zorawar about Shraddha's situation and convinces him to take her back. Anand seeks an explanation from Shraddha for hiding the truth from them. Shraddha feels ashamed to face her father. Zorawar calls her and asks her to come home. Shraddha worries that Bobby may not like the idea of moving back to Delhi, but Anand is adamant on taking her home. Zorawar and the entire family becomes excited about Shraddha's return.
Shraddha and Dhruv leave for Delhi. Zorawar instructs the family members to behave normally with Shraddha. He receives Shraddha at the airport, and consoles her as she starts crying. Jaya tells Kritika that the family members will start ignoring them as Shraddha is returning home. Kritika assures her that there will not be any such discrimination, in the Shergill house. Kritika welcomes Shraddha home. Zorawar becomes depressed as his daughter did not tell him about her problems, earlier.
Anand thanks Kritika for sending him to Mumbai. Jaya wonders if Shraddha will be kept at home forever. Zorawar intends to send Bobby to jail. Anand tells him that Bobby has been out of touch for over a year. At the dinner table, Kritika serves Shraddha all her favourite food. Dhruv reveals to the family that Shraddha offered tiffin services to people. He reveals that the money did not make their ends meet. Kritika eases Shraddha's mood and feeds her dinner.
Kritika tells her mother that Shraddha has returned home. Amrit tells Zorawar that they should have tried to express their love to Shraddha. Shraddha apologises to Zorawar. Zorawar asks her to forget the past and move on with her life. Ashish suggests her to file a divorce petition. Kritika suggests them that they should talk to Bobby, before taking a decision. Dhruv overhears Anand saying that Bobby is dead for them. Kritika tells him that he misunderstood Anand.
Amrit tells Zorawar to make Shraddha happy. Dhruv tells Shraddha that Amrit brought him clothes and fed him. Amrit promises bedtime stories to Dhruv. Kritika asks Amrit to resolve her differences with Shraddha. Kamini visits the Shergill house to meet Shraddha, and enquires about Bobby. Jaya tells her that Bobby left Shraddha, a year ago. Kamini question her how will they face the society. Kritika forbids her from interfering in her family matters and asks her to leave.
Kritika apologises on behalf of Kamini. She tells Shraddha that the family's happiness depends on her. Anand asks Kritika to inform her mother not to come to the Shergill house, again. Zorawar is worried about how the society will treat Shraddha. He decides to find Bobby and send Shraddha with him. Purshottam yells at Kamini. Anand does not respond to Kritika's messages. Dhruv recites the lullaby, that Zorawar used to sing to Shraddha. Amrit notices that Anand is upset with Kritika.
Zorawar asks Ishaan to track Bobby online. He sends him a message on a social networking swebsite hoping to talk to him about Shraddha. Jaya tells Kamini about Shraddha's situation, in detail. Shraddha and Anand fight for chocolates. Zorawar plans for a picnic. Anand is excited to leave. He apologises to Kritika for shouting at her. Dhruv goes to Amrit for bed time stories. Shraddha follows him and finds out that Amrit is sleeping on the sofa, and insists that they shift back to their room.
Zorawar tells Amrit that Bobby has not replied to his message. Anand goes to meet a divorce lawyer. Shraddha becomes upset on learning about the same. Zorawar asks Shraddha to decide if she wants a divorce. Zorawar, Amrit and Kritika meet Bobby's aunt, Anjana. Anjana tells them that she expected Bobby and Shraddha to separate. Zorawar tells Anjana that the police will track Bobby down. Amrit requests Anjana to provide her with Bobby's address. Later, she asks Zorawar to cheer up.
Jaya informs Anand that Kritika has gone out with his parents. Kritika lies to Anand that they went shopping for Shraddha and Dhruv. Amrit asks Zorawar to enjoy the picnic. Zorawar's car breaks down in the middle of the road. They fix the car and reach the picnic spot. Anand asks Ishaan about his parents' whereabouts, during the day. Dhruv challenges Zorawar for a badminton match. The family becomes happy on seeing Shraddha enjoying. Anand asks Kritika if she really went shopping.
Bobby calls Shraddha, and tells her that he is sorry for his misdeeds. He informs her that he is in a lot of trouble and wishes to return to her. However, the call gets disconnected before she could ask him to come to Delhi. Anand is skeptical about Bobby's intentions. He overhears Kritika talking about meeting Anjana, and realises that she lied to him. Zorawar promises to forgive Bobby as long as he keeps Shraddha happy. Anand vows to keep Bobby away from Shraddha.
Shraddha asks Amrit if she ever hurt her. Amrit denies the same. Bobby calls Shraddha and tells her that he is coming to take them back to Mumbai. Shraddha tells Kritika that Bobby is coming home. Zorawar receives Kamini's call and informs her about the same. Kritika asks Anand to be happy for Shraddha. Amrit becomes happy on thinking that she will get a chance to take care of her son-in-law. Anand is still doubtful about Bobby's return. He tells Zorawar that he does not trust Bobby.
Shraddha tells Kritika that she is happy as her family has accepted Bobby. Anand is still annoyed with Bobby. Amrit is confident that Bobby will return and mend his relationship with Shraddha. Dhruv goes missing from the house. The entire family searches for him, but in vain. Ishaan apologises to Shraddha for not taking care of Dhruv. Dhruv returns home and tells everyone that he went to welcome Bobby. He informs Shraddha that he came home with Bobby.
Anand yells at Dhruv for going out alone. Bobby approaches Zorawar, but Zorawar becomes angry and slaps him for leaving Shraddha. Bobby seeks forgiveness from him and conveys that he has returned to repent for his mistakes. Anand disbelieves him. Zorawar decides to forgive Bobby, and accepts him as a part of the family. Bobby requests Shraddha to talk to him. Shraddha recalls about her miseries and pushes him away. Bobby begs her for another chance.
Ishaan hits Bobby by mistake, while boxing. Shraddha slaps him for the same. Ishaan realises that Shraddha loves Bobby and he hurt her a lot by speaking ill of him. Bobby assures Shraddha that he came back for her and Dhruv. Anand claims that Shraddha is emotional and is taking a wrong decision. Bobby helps Kritika with the kitchen chores. Zorawar calls Bobby to his room to clear his doubts. He tells Bobby that he cannot forgive the person, who hurt his daughter.
Bobby blames Zorawar for not checking on Shraddha. Zorawar apologises to Shraddha. Bobby gives gifts to everyone at home, including Anand. Amrit insists Anand to accept it. Ishaan suggests Bobby to sing a song. Bobby receives a phone call. Zorawar goes to check on him. Bobby sings a song for Shraddha. The whole family applauds him. Kritika asks Anand to have dinner. She informs him that she did not eat either. Anand tells her that a good wife always trusts her husband.
Zorawar praises Bobby in front of Amrit. Jaya tells Kamini about the things done by Bobby, after his arrival. Dhruv insists Bobby to tell him a story. He tells Bobby that Jetli threw them out of the house. Later, Bobby goes for jogging with Zorawar, and tells him that he understands his priorities better. He wishes to live with Shraddha and Dhruv, and promises to keep them happy. Anand and Kritika sort out their differences. Anand finds out that Bobby and Zorawar went for jogging.
Amrit and Zorawar become elated on seeing Bobby's concern for Shraddha and Dhruv. However, Anand becomes outraged at Bobby for leaving Shraddha, in the past. Bobby wishes to make him realise that the circumstances compelled him to ignore his family. He apologises to the Shergill family for the same. Nevertheless, Anand does not wish Bobby to reconcile with Shraddha. Zorawar rebukes him for not trusting Bobby. Bobby vows to take care of Shraddha, in front of Zorawar.
Kritika calls Anand and cheers him up. He overhears Jaya informing Kritika about Shraddha and Dhruv returning to Mumbai. Anand asks his friend, Sanket, to gather information about Bobby. Kritika overhears Bobby, begging for his payment, over the phone. Dhruv asks Zorawar to visit him in Mumbai. Zorawar wishes to provide monetary help to Shraddha. Amrit tells him that they should not send Shraddha back with Bobby. Shraddha accuses Amrit of inflicting her thoughts on Anand.
Shraddha claims that Amrit has cursed her. Amrit becomes heartbroken after the same. Bobby suggests Shraddha that she should stay back, as he does not have any money. Kritika overhears them. Zorawar blames himself for not being able to resolve the differences between Shraddha and Amrit. Dhruv tells Anand that Bobby is not taking them to Mumbai. Anand denies considering Kritika's suggestion to provide monetary help to Bobby. Kritika informs him that Shraddha yelled at Amrit.
Zorawar tries to explain to Shraddha that Amrit does not wish ill on her. Anand tells Shraddha that Amrit will always be their mother and not a step-mother. Kritika asks Bobby how much money he needs. Bobby tells her that he requires Rs. 2 lakh to pay the deposit for their flat. Amrit informs Shraddha that she convinced Bobby to take her to Mumbai with him. Kritika goes to meet her father. But, Kamini tells her that her father is out of town. Kritika tells her mother that she needs money.
Kritika lies to Kamini that Anand is in need of money. Later, she calls Bobby to a cafe, near their house, to give him the money. She insists him to accept the money and asks him to return it, whenever he can. However, she asks him not to tell anyone about the same. Bobby lies to Shraddha that his friend returned the money, he had borrowed from him. Amrit breaks her fixed deposit with an intention of helping Bobby. Zorawar offers the money to Bobby and Shraddha.
The men of the Shergill family enjoy the party. Kunal seeks advice from Anand about Shraddha. Kritika and Shraddha consume alcohol, unintentionally. The men decide to disguise themselves as women, and spoil the women's party. The women recognise the men, and order them to give a dance performance. Zorawar and Purshottam argue with each other under the influence of alcohol. Kamini questions Shraddha whether she has consumed alcohol.
Kunal assures Zorawar of taking care of Shraddha. He argues with Zorawar, under the influence of alcohol. Later, Shraddha speaks to Kamini in an intoxicated state. Zorawar and Purshottam apologise to each other for their misbehaviour. Amrit makes fun of Zorawar. Meanwhile, Purshottam enquires Kamini on seeing her worried. Kritika makes fun of Shraddha. She tries to console Shraddha. Kamini becomes furious at Shraddha for consuming alcohol, and decides to inform Kunal about the same.
Kunal leaves Dhruv in a tailor's shop, and goes out to speak with Shraddha, over the phone. He meets Purshottam and Kamini in the mall. Meanwhile, Dhruv goes in search of Kunal, and gets lost. Kunal confronts the tailor for not taking care of Dhruv. Dhruv locks himself inside a rest room, by mistake. Kunal fails to find Dhruv. Later, he informs Shraddha that Dhruv is missing. Shraddha confronts Kunal for being irresponsible. Kunal, Shraddha, Anand, Kritika and Purshottam search for Dhruv.
A cleaning staff finds Dhruv inside the rest room, and tries to open the door. Purshottam makes an announcement in the mall about Dhruv's disappearance. Kunal learns that Dhruv has locked himself in the rest room, and breaks the door. Shraddha becomes relieved on seeing Dhruv. Kunal and Shraddha apologise to each other. Later, Daman suggests Anand and Kritika to plan for a baby. She enlightens Shraddha about marital life. Kamini forbids Shraddha from bringing Dhruv to her house.
Kamini asks Shraddha to choose between Dhruv and Kunal. She confronts Shraddha for yelling at Kunal. Kritika asks Kamini to change her decision, but in vain. Meanwhile, Zorawar and Dildaar have an argument. Amrit tries to convince Kamini to accept Dhruv, but she refuses. Kamini informs that Shraddha will give more importance to Dhruv than Kunal. Shraddha admits that she loves Kunal. However, she refuses to leave Dhruv. Shraddha decides not to marry Kunal.
Jaya informs Zorawar that Shraddha has refused to marry Kunal. Meanwhile, Kunal plans for his honeymoon with Shraddha. Amrit confronts Kamini for cancelling the marriage because of her condition. Zorawar becomes infuriated on learning about Kamini's condition and cancels Shraddha's marriage. He asks Kamini to leave. He informs Purshottam that the wedding is cancelled. Purshottam confronts Kamini for breaking Kunal's marriage. Kamini informs Kunal that Shraddha has refused to marry him.
Kamini informs Kunal that she had forbid Shraddha from bringing Dhruv to her house. Zorawar feels proud of Shraddha's decision. Kunal apologises to Zorawar on behalf of Kamini and informs him that he will marry Shraddha, as scheduled. He requests Zorawar not to cancel the marriage. Kunal promises Zorawar that he will take good care of Dhruv. Zorawar tells Kunal that if Kamini apologises to Shraddha, he will allow him to marry Shraddha. Kunal requests Kamini to apologise to Shraddha.
Kamini refuses to apologise to Shraddha. Kunal asks Purshottam to convince Kamini for the same. Dildaar informs Kunal that Zorawar is displeased with Kamini's behaviour. Kunal apologises to Amrit on behalf of Kamini. Kritika assures Amrit that she will convince Shraddha to get married to Kunal, and leave Dhruv. Kunal requests Zorawar not to cancel the marriage. On the insistence of the family, Zorawar gives his consent for the marriage. Kritika informs Kamini that Shraddha has agreed to her condition.
Kamini becomes shocked on learning that Shraddha has agreed to her condition. Kritika informs her that she will take care of Dhruv. Kunal informs Purshottam that he has convinced the Shergill family for the marriage. Kritika tries to convince Dhruv not to go to Kunal's house for a few days after the marriage. Anand assures Kritika that they will convince Dhruv. Kamini applies haldi to Kunal. Shraddha informs Dhruv that he has to stay in the Shergill house for a few days after the marriage.
Kamini informs Dhruv that he will be staying in the Shergill house after Shraddha and Kunal's marriage. Dhruv becomes sad on learning the same. Kamini lies to Purshottam about Dhruv's phone call. Anand tries to convince Dhruv to stay in the Shergill house for a few days after the marriage. Purshottam informs Kunal that Dhruv wants to welcome him. The Shrivastav family leaves for the marriage venue. Anand praises Kritika's looks. Kritika informs Shraddha that Dhruv has left for the marriage venue.
Anand tries to calm Zorawar. Zorawar asks Ishaan to bring Dhruv, to welcome Kunal. The Shrivastav family reaches the marriage venue. Kunal becomes surprised on seeing his friends. He introduces his friends to Zorawar, Amrit, Kritika and Dildaar. The Shergill family performs the pre marriage rituals. Dhruv refuses to welcome Kunal. Kritika enquires Dhruv on seeing him sad. Zorawar and Amrit insist Kamini to dance. Dhruv tells Kunal that he wants to speak to him.
Shraddha assures Dhruv that she will be taking him to Kunal's house after the marriage. Zorawar becomes furious at Dildaar for getting broken chairs for the marriage. Dildaar apologises to Kamini for his mistake. Shraddha enquires Kritika about Dhruv's displeased behaviour. Anand, Ashish, Ishaan and Jaya make fun of Kunal and his friends. Later, Purshottam tries to calm Zorawar. The Shergill and the Shrivastav families celebrate Kunal and Shraddha's marriage.

Zorawar becomes furious at Dildaar, and asks Ishaan, Anand and Ashish to throw him out of the house. He apologises to Kamini on behalf of Dildaar. Kritika assures Shraddha that she will take care of Dhruv.
Dhruv becomes sad on learning that Shraddha and Kunal have left the house without him. Dildaar tries to console Zorawar. Meanwhile, Kamini performs Shraddha's welcome ritual. Purshottam asks Kamini to accept Shraddha as her daughter-in-law. He becomes furious at Kamini for her behaviour towards Shraddha. The Shergill family becomes sad on recalling Shraddha. Later, Anand tries to console Zorawar. Kritika, Ishaan and Ashish try to cheer Zorawar.
Kunal spends some romantic moments with Shraddha on their wedding night. Shraddha misses Dhruv. Anand becomes worried on thinking about Dhruv. Kritika assures him that Kunal will convince Kamini to accept Dhruv. Kunal decides to bring Dhruv home on his wedding night. Purshottam suggests him to bring Dhruv, the next day. Meanwhile, Dhruv sees a nightmare, and wakes up. He does not speak to Shraddha, over the phone.
Shraddha becomes scared on seeing a lizard, and screams. Kamini enquires Kunal about the same. Shraddha professes her love to Kunal. She and Kunal visit Zorawar's house on their wedding night. Shraddha becomes relieved on seeing Dhruv sleeping. Kamini becomes shocked on learning that Kunal and Shraddha have gone out on their wedding night, and confronts them. However, Kunal lies to her. Anand arrives at Kunal's house, to take Shraddha to her paternal house for a ritual.
Shraddha becomes shocked on learning that Kamini has not forgotten her condition, and questions her about the same. She informs Kamini that she will not be returning to her house. Kunal decides to stay in his in-laws' house. Zorawar decides to complain to the police against Kamini. Meanwhile, Kritika becomes unconscious, and is admitted to the hospital. Dhruv becomes delighted on learning that Kunal will be staying with him.
The Shergill family becomes delighted on learning that Kritika is pregnant. Kritika informs Kamini that she does not want to become a mother. Kamini's mother and mother-in-law suggest her to accept Dhruv. Dhruv becomes delighted on learning that he will be having a cousin. He informs Zorawar that Kunal will stay with them. Zorawar and Amrit happily agree to the same. Kunal spends some nice moments with Shraddha and Dhruv. Kritika decides to arrange for Shraddha and Kunal’s wedding night.
Jaya informs Kamini that Kunal will be staying in their house. Shraddha wishes to stay with Kunal's family. Kritika, Jaya and Ishaan decorate the bedroom on Shraddha and Kunal's wedding night. Kamini's mother and mother-in-law forbid her from meeting Kritika. Purshottam suggests Kunal to stay in the apartment that he has purchased in Kunal's name. The Shergill family spends some good moments with each other. Kritika falls off the stairs.
The doctor checks Kritika, and suggests her to undergo a sonography. Zorawar rebukes Ishaan. Kritika, Anand and Kunal try to comfort Ishaan, but in vain. Zorawar and Amrit instruct Kritika to shift to their bedroom, which is on the ground floor. Zorawar repents for scolding Ishaan. Kamini arrives at Zorawar's house, to meet Kritika. However, Kritika refuses to meet her. Amrit comforts Kritika. Ishaan learns that he is not Zorawar's son on overhearing Amrit and Kritika's conversation.
Ishaan becomes upset on learning that he is not Zorawar's son. Shraddha and Kunal try to speak to Ishaan, but in vain. Purshottam confronts Kamini for hurting Kunal. Ashish and Anand have an argument whether Kritika will be giving birth to a baby boy or a baby girl. Ishaan vents his anger on Dhruv. Zorawar confronts Ishaan for scolding Dhruv. Shraddha decides to cheer Ishaan, and suggests Kunal to speak to Kamini. Kunal refuses to do the same. Shraddha decides not to shift to Kunal's apartment.
The Shergill family decides to host a party in Kritika's honour. Zorawar tells that the unborn baby should not resemble Ishaan. Ishaan informs everyone that he is Anand's stepbrother. He confronts Amrit and Zorawar for hiding the same. Amrit slaps Ishaan. Ishaan decides to leave the house. Amrit orders her family not to stop Ishaan. Vishnu visits Purshottam's house, along with his wife. Anand and Kunal go in search of Ishaan.
Ishaan consumes alcohol, and has a brawl with the waiter. The police arrest Ishaan. Ritika informs Shraddha about the same. Zorawar gets Ishaan released from the police custody. Amrit is unhappy with Ishaan's behaviour. On waking up, Ishaan finds Zorawar sleeping on a chair. He decides to leave the house, but Zorawar wakes up. Zorawar shares his feelings with Ishaan, and apologises to him for hiding the truth. Amrit informs Ishaan that Zorawar wants him to perform his last rites.
Amrit informs Ishaan about the circumstances under which Zorawar had accepted them. Ishaan apologises to Zorawar. The Shergill family becomes delighted after Zorawar and Ishaan reunite. Jaya decides to visit her maternal house, and asks her friend, Bubbly, to call Amrit, pretending as her mother. Ashish learns about Jaya's intention, and confronts her. The women of the Shergill family challenge the men to cook food.
Kamini calls Jaya, and learns that Kunal is preparing food. Amrit and Zorawar decide to speak to Kamini. Dhruv tells Kritika that he is hungry. Hence, Kritika decides to prepare food for him. Kritika's dupatta catches fire. Shraddha and Kunal save her from getting burnt. Zorawar and Amrit persuade Kamini to reunite with her children. Kamini apologises to Shraddha, and accepts her and Dhruv. Kritika and Kunal forgive Kamini for her misdeeds. The Shergill family reunites.
