Welcome to Savernake Forest just outside the town of Marlborough. As an amazing example of British woodland, many ancient oaks call it home. Amoung these watchers of the forest is the King of Limbs, a truely gigantic and gnarled tree that has watched the centuries move by. This traditional sport has existed for hundreds of years and has become a part of the community's identity, happening every year on the May bank holiday.
