双六やカルタ、ボードゲーム製作販売会社・雀躍堂の前社長・戸山福太郎（伊東四朗）は、娘（夏川結衣）の夫（勝村政信）に社長を譲ってからも出勤し、誰彼かまわず捕まえては同じ手柄話をくり返す。父親の老害にある出来事から耐えきれなくなった娘が、とうとう現実社会ではまず言えない本音を叩きつける。父親は反省し、その寂しそうな姿に娘は言い過ぎたと落ち込むが、福太郎は逆襲を企んでいた。 近所の老人5人と手を組み、若年層が理想の老後像だと押し付ける趣味や挑戦などの「自分磨き」ではない、誰かの役に立つ自分を求めて行動を起こす。コロナ禍の老人たちと、家族や社員や近所の人たちまで巻き込み、それぞれの立場や本音が入り乱れながらも、互いになにかを感じ始め、自分たちの足元を見直す人々のリアルバトルドラマ
