民国时期，朱飘逸为完成父亲遗愿，在家门惨遭灭顶之时，逃到陈家沟太极门。一度产生自暴自弃念头的朱飘逸在梁普方及陈清源的开导下，开始在太极门学习太极拳。朱飘逸学成太极拳之后，为将龙头杖交给革命军，与亲人朋友一同到上海。在上海，朱飘逸一面推广太极拳，一面等候革命军消息。在杀父仇人张凌海的阴谋下，朱飘逸不得已去探寻龙头杖的秘密，最终在革命军的帮助下，完成了父亲的遗愿。回到上海之后，朱飘逸为了保护上海能够和平解放，与日本黑龙会展开斗争，最终直捣黑龙会，粉碎了日本人的野心 。
