Drift along Norway's Telemark Canal aboard the MS Victoria as it sails through a series of locks and past points of interest between Skien and Dalen. The MS Victoria has been in service for 130 years, and she has served passengers like Vidkun Quisling (military officer and politician) and the Norwegian resistance group Milorg during the Second World War. Now, she is serving thousands of Norwegian and international travellers up the Telemark Canal. It is a beautiful journey with spectacular scenery through locks and open lakes. It encapsulates all of Norway in one small journey. Look out for highlights along the way such as Fjågesund where human activity dates back to 2800–3500 BC. Carved into a hillside you'll see the monogram of King Oscar II and the mineral field Fensfeltet where many rare metals have been discovered.
