Here is the second episode of ‘The Young Visiters’ by Daisy Ashford, who was only 9 years old when she wrote this novel in the late Victorian era! I’ve loved seeing the society, relationships and interiors of the time through a child’s eyes, and hope you enjoy it as much as I have! For those of you who are in social isolation, here is an escape to another time and place ???? I’ve split the book into quarters, so here is the second of four videos, which together will constitute the entire novel, unabridged.
