British English gag dub of Urusei Yatsura. It aired on BBC Choice as part of a "Japan Night" special in August 2000.
Lum the Invader Girl (also known as "Urusei Yatsura BBC Dub") was the name given to a gag dub of Japanese anime Urusei Yatsura which was produced by the BBC for BBC Choice Japan TV Weekend in August 2000. Like many gag Dubs the voice acting was redone and the dub only followed only the basics elements of the original script, replacing them with jokes.
This dub was recorded in the United Kingdom and featured English comedian Matt Lucas as Ataru and actress Anna Friel as Lum, while much of the other cast were British dubbing regulars.
