ปรมินทร์ และแก้วกัญญาเป็นคู่รักกันมาตั้งแต่สมัยเรียนมหาวิทยาลัย จนทั้งคู่เรียนจบทำงานและร่วมกันสร้างฝันในอนาคตมากมาย คืนหนึ่งที่ปรมินทร์พาแก้วกัญญาและครอบครัวของแก้วกัญญา อันได้แก่ ฟองจันทร์ ผู้เป็นแม่ กิ่งกาญจน์ พี่สาวคนโต และก้องบดินทร์ น้องชายคนเล็ก ไปเที่ยวทะเลพร้อมกับกลุ่มเพื่อน ทั้งคู่แอบแยกมาพลอดรักกันที่ริมทะเลแล้วเกือบจะเผลอใจมีอะไรกัน แต่ก็ยับยั้งชั่งใจไว้ได้ ปรมินทร์และแก้วกัญญาให้สัญญาต่อกันว่าจะรักและอยู่เคียงข้างกันตลอดไป
