大四应届毕业生安岩是一个平凡男孩，此时此刻他正为工作的事情而焦虑，当然自视甚高的他时刻不改吐槽毒舌的本性。某天，安岩乘坐公交车去位于山中度假别墅的打工，谁知途中上来三个神色诡异的男女，接着又有一个男子上车将安岩扔了下来。次日一早，安岩在家中醒来，不久便从新闻中得知他前一晚死于公交车事故的噩耗。惊愕之余，昨天那个神秘男子——馗道高手神荼。命运将安岩和神荼、张天师、王胖子以及T.H.A协会（世界宝藏猎人协会）搅在了一起。他也将踏上一个闻所未闻的神秘旅程……
