Cold Comfort Farm

Based on Stella Gibbons 1932 novel "Cold Comfort Farm" this three part BBC series follows the parody of the romanticised accounts of rural life that were popular at the time. Including the parodying of other writers who used phonics to portray country, this series uses fake but authentic sounding local vocabulary.
