主人公の望美は夫の良一との間に子供を授かり幸せの絶頂だったが、 旅行中に事故に遭ってしまう。次に彼女が目覚めた時、お腹の子は死産しており、4年の時間が経過していることを知らされる。4年の間に良一は望美と離婚し、大企業の娘・御堂絵梨華と結婚していた。絶望しながらも現実を受け止めようとする望美だが、事故が良一と絵梨華が望美を殺すために仕組んだものだと知ってしまう。 復讐に燃える望美は名前と顔を変えて良一と絵梨華の家の家政婦になり、自らの人生を壊した奴らに復讐していく......
