新媒体时代，酱紫，一个不够幸运，却始终在奋斗的路上努力奔跑，期望被看见的女孩。为了成为自媒体博主，她毅然决然地辞掉家乡的稳定工作，独自一人来到北京。她得到了跟曾经的偶像艾薇共事的机会，她们亦敌亦友，彼此欣赏又互相竞争。聪明能干，敢拼敢闯的酱紫逐渐在新媒体行业闯荡出属于自己的一片天地。同时，酱紫遇到了呆萌理工男罗鑫，他们从初识的欢喜冤家，到后来的相依相靠，罗鑫是她挣脱职场泥淖的出口，是她绝望时的解药。然而当酱紫站上成功的顶峰之后，却开始迷茫新媒体工作的意义所在。因为一次意外失误，酱紫被公司雪藏。事业跌落谷底的酱紫在罗鑫和艾薇的帮助下，终于完成了属于自己的“再成长”，事业也再度迎来新高峰。
