俳優として様々な作品で躍進を続ける中川翼と、アーティストであり俳優としても活動をしている桜木雅哉（原因は自分にある。）のW主演による、ドラマ『ちょっと待とうよ、春虎くん』が8月13日（木）よりMBSドラマフィル枠にて放送することが決定した。本作の原作『ちょっと待とうよ、春虎くん』は、人気漫画家・あめきり氏が描く、先輩マスク男子と一途でまっすぐな後輩男子が紡ぐ、“ピュアきゅん”青春ラブストーリー。人との関係に悩み、マスクで表情を隠す先輩・岸田粋（中川翼）と、一途でまっすぐな新入生・黒部春虎（桜木雅哉）――。対照的な二人が紡ぐ物語は、青春ならではのあたたかさとトキメキがありながらも、胸がきゅっと締め付けられるような甘酸っぱさに満ち溢れている。思春期ならではの不器用な恋心と瑞々しい成長を描き、多くの読者を魅了した“ピュアきゅん”BLが、満を持してついに実写ドラマ化！登場人物の繊細でリアルな心理描写に引き込まれ、深い共感を呼ぶこと間違いなしの大注目作が、いよいよ幕を開ける。
