The National Retail Federation is expecting Valentine's Day spending this year to reach NINETEEN-POINT-SIX BILLION DOLLARS, and a full FIFTY-FIVE PERCENT are planning to give their loves some candy! Including over FORTY MILLION heart-shaped boxes of chocolate! And if that seems less romantic to you than flowers, you should know that 69 PERCENT of people prefer the sweet stuff! And that's a real stat, not just a number we find excuses to say!
