Instead she parked out of sight and spotted Peter arrive and enter Carla’s flat. John went to see Charlotte, who enjoyed calling him ‘Colin’ and tried again to push him into an affair. He lost his patience with Charlotte and pinned her against the wall, which she seemed to find exhilarated. Michelle returned to Carla's flat to confront her and Peter. Carla was forced to explain about her drink problem and driving ban, and how Peter was just helping her. John arrived home and lied to Fiz that he'd spoken to Colin, who had decided to go back to Canada. Fiz is relieved but declared they must inform Colin's mum which alarmed John. Home alone, Carla broke down sobbing from all her problems and feelings for Peter.
