Pittiplatsch, kurz Pitti genannt, ist ein kleiner, schwarzer Kobold mit einem großen Mundwerk und einem großen Herz. Er ist neugierig, verschmitzt und durchaus liebenswert. Seine Aktionen sind gut gemeint, oft allerdings nicht ganz uneigennützig und leider gehen sie auch meistens schief. Dann ist er total betrübt und verspricht, zukünftig „gaaanz liiieb“ zu sein! Bis 1991 produzierte der Deutsche Fernsehfunk (DFF) über 500 gemeinsame Abendgrußgeschichten mit Pitti, Moppi und Schnatterinchen.
