Dave Deacon (Robin Askwith) is a football-mad milkman who works for Dawson's Dairies in South London. Among his fellow workmates are Billy Watson (David Auker), Joe Phillips (Oscar James) and Jock Collins (Phil McCall). The depot foreman is Stan Evans (Richard Davies). His well-endowed secretary is Sharon Armstrong (Eve Ferret).
