Victor Petri, glücklicher Ehemann und Vater eines Sohnes, kommt bei einem Fallschirmsprung ums Leben ein Killer hat seinen Schirm manipuliert. Als „Engel“ kehrt Victor zurück, kommt einem groß angelegten Versicherungsbetrug auf die Spur und muss seinen Sohn vor dem hinterhältigen Attentäter beschützen.
