Während des Ersten Weltkrieges tobt in Dublin der brutale Osteraufstand gegen das britische Regime. Drei Frauen und ihre Familien müssen sich für eine Seite entscheiden.

Welcome to Ireland, 1920. Everything is double - two states, two armies, two judicial systems – and with each of those states working overtly and covertly to destabilise the other, parents and children, brothers and sisters, husbands and wives are all forced to live double lives themselves, and can no longer trust each other. The destruction and collapse of the state is echoed in that of the families and the relationships of our protagonists. Everyone is fighting for their lives, and for the future.

Tout est double - deux États, deux armées, deux systèmes judiciaires - et chacun de ces États travaillant ouvertement et secrètement pour déstabiliser l’autre, parents et enfants, frères et sœurs, maris et femmes sont obligés de vivre eux-mêmes une double vie. La destruction et l'effondrement de l'État se répercutent dans celui des familles et des relations de nos protagonistes : chacun lutte pour sa vie et pour l'avenir.
