杀手组织四方会中，一心想成为顶尖杀手的新手刺客苏羡灵，在营救同门师弟失败后，接手了他们未完成的订单——“刺杀”洛弈城城主东方景。看似昏庸无道的纨绔君主东方景，竟然是该订单的雇主，且他有勇善谋，借助苏羡灵的身份掩人耳目。他们二人一人在明一人在暗，既是敌人又是伙伴。在这场相爱相杀的猫鼠游戏中，二人的心却在慢慢靠近。
