Völlig unbemerkt von Gästen und Personal wurde am Pool des Hotels Agramonte eine Frau erschossen. Anhand der Projektile kann Calleigh ermitteln, dass die Waffe vor eineinhalb Jahren bei einem Banküberfall benutzt wurde. Damals wurde ein Wachmann durch einen Schuss in den Hinterkopf getötet. Bei der Untersuchung der Leiche vom Pool stellt sich unterdessen heraus, dass die Frau namens Gloria Tynan offenbar vom FBI eine zweite Identität erhalten hatte. Als Eric auf ihre Akte zugreifen will, meldet sich jedoch sofort das FBI und behindert weitere Ermittlungen, denn Glorias Geliebter Frank soll gegen die kolumbianische Drogenmafia aussagen. Das CSI-Team lässt sich vom FBI nicht in seine Arbeit hineinreden und stellt anhand von Fingerabdrücken die Identität von Glorias Geliebten fest. Dieser hatte damals zusammen mit seinem Partner James Fukes die Bank überfallen und geglaubt, er müsse die Beute nicht teilen, wenn er gegen die Mafia aussagt und unter die Kronzeugenregelung fällt. Wollte sich Fukes mit der Ermordung Glorias an seinem ehemaligen Partner rächen?

Horatio battles the FBI and U.S. Marshals as he tries to uncover why a woman was murdered at the side of a pool at a hotel. The investigation begins shortly after the woman is found dead from two shots to the head. The evidence suggests that it was a professional hit man, which is strange enough, but the case becomes additionally puzzling when the Feds and U.S. Marshals get involved. Plus, the murder weapon is linked to a cold case that was orinially investigated by Yelina. Meanwhile, Calleigh talks to her dad about his drinking problem after she's called away from work to drag him out of a bar.

Horatio enfrenta o FBI e a Polícia Local quando tenta descobrir por que motivo uma mulher foi assassinada à beira da piscina de um hotel. As investigações começam pouco depois de o corpo ser encontrado com dois tiros na cabeça. As provas sugerem que foi trabalho de profissionais e o caso fica ainda mais confuso quando os Agentes Federais e a Polícia se envolvem nas investigações. Além disso, a arma do crime está ligada a um caso arquivado que tinha sido investigado originalmente por Yelina.
