Outstanding film and TV performances are honored in 13 categories at the 13th annual gala from the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles. Anne Hathaway and Dick Van Dyke present Julie Andrews with the Life Achievement Award; and the cast of "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" (including Moore, Edward Asner, Georgia Engel, Valerie Harper, Cloris Leachman, Gavin MacLeod and Betty White) reunites to present an award. Other presenters include Steve Carell and Forest Whitaker.
