Damien Darhk a Malcolm Merlyn se vydávají do roku 1967, aby dopadli Ripa Huntera. Vytvoří ale dost velkou odchylku, čehož si všimnou Legendy. Ti se tak po delší době setkávají opět s Kapitánem Hunterem, který je vůbec nepoznává. Vlastní ale velice vzácný artefakt – Kopí osudu.

Während Damien Darhk und Malcolm Merlyn im Jahr 1967 versuchen, Rip Hunter zu fassen, kreieren sie eine Zeitveränderung, die wegen ihrer Größe die Aufmerksamkeit der Legenden auf sich zieht. Rip allerdings hat keinerlei Erinnerungen an seine Zeitreise. Er ist aber im Besitz eines unglaublich mächtigen Artefaktes, des „Speer des Schicksals“, und so wird er zum Ziel der Legion von Doom. Ray und Nate erkennen derweil, dass diese Veränderung sie auch persönlich stark betrifft ...

When Damien Darhk and Malcolm Merlyn try to capture Rip Hunter in 1967, they create an Aberration big enough to draw the attention of the Legends. However, when the team arrives they discover that Rip has no memories of his past due to “time drift” and is just a graduate film student. After trying to convince Rip of who he was, they discover that he possesses an incredibly powerful artifact known as the Spear of Destiny, which the Legion of Doom is after. Ray and Nate realize that the Aberration has also affected them personally making it difficult to help the team. Meanwhile, Rory asks Stein for help and makes him promise to keep it a secret from the team.

Quand Damien Darhk et Malcolm Merlyn tentent de capturer Rip Hunter en 1967, ils créent une aberration assez grande pour attirer l’attention des Legends. Cependant, quand l’équipe arrive, ils découvrent que Rip n’a plus aucun souvenir de son passé en raison d’une ‘dérive temporelle’ et qu’il n’est qu’un étudiant en cinéma diplômé. Après avoir essayé de convaincre Rip de qui il était, ils découvrent qu’il possède un incroyable et puissant artefact connu sous le nom de Lance du Destin, recherché par la Legion of Doom. Ray et Nate se rendent compte également que l’aberration les a affecté personnellement, ils ont alors du mal à aider l’équipe. Pendant ce temps, Rory demande à Stein de l’aide et lui fait promettre de garder un secret.

Il professor Stein e' impegnato a scoprire la causa delle continue e inspiegabili visioni che tormentano Rory e scopre che all'interno della testa gli e' stato impiantato da qualcuno un dispositivo sensibile alla trasmissione di onde gravitazionali. Intanto Darhk e Merlyn, che Nate ha battezzato Legion of Doom, stanno andando a caccia della Lancia del Destino, perche' si suppone abbia il potere di riscrivere la realta'. La loro ricerca li porta a Los Angeles nel 1967 dove Rip ha portato con se' parte della Lancia del Destino, dopo aver lasciato con un salto temporale la Waverider ed essersi disperso nel Tempo.

Cuando Damien Darhk y Malcolm Merlyn intentan capturar a Rip Hunter en 1967, crean una Aberración suficientemente grande como para llamar la atención de las Leyendas. Sin embargo, cuando el equipo llega descubre que Rip no tiene recuerdos de su pasado debido a las derivas temporales y simplemente es un estudiante de cine graduado. Después de intentar convencer a Rip de quién es realmente, descubren que posee un poderoso artefacto conocido como la Lanza del Destino, que es lo que la Legión del Mal está buscando. Ray y Nate se dan cuenta de que la Aberración los está afectando personalmente haciendo complicado que ayuden al equipo. Mientras tanto, Rory le pide ayuda a Stein y le hace prometer que no se le contará el secreto al equipo.
