Japanese Tableware

Alongside the popularity of Japanese cuisine, Japanese tableware is drawing attention from around the world. Japanese tableware, for which usage is separated according to ingredients, cuisine, and season, is considered to be rare from the world’s perspective. Since people hold tableware and bring it to their mouths, making it easy to hold and the feel of it on your lips are considered to be important. Having your own bowls and chopsticks is also unique to Japanese tableware. We investigate the appeals of Japanese tableware from the perspective of foreigners.
