The concept of senpai and kohai is rare in the world. “Why do you have to obey senpai?” “Why do senpai have to pay for kohai?” Relationships between people that are normal in Japan seem strange to foreigners. Foreigners rushed to criticize the senpai and kohai culture that exists not only in schools but in the world of hobbies and parents of children! Are senpai and kohai cool? We investigate from the perspective of foreigners.
