Susan says her daughter, Emma, has always had a troubled life of drugs and abuse but that things took a turn for the worse when Emma’s fiancé died from an overdose leaving her alone with her two children. Emma says she blames herself for his death -- and then relied on her father, David, for financial support. David says Emma has been troubled ever since she was a teen and expects everyone to fix her mistakes. Emma’s brother, Jasper, says he is standing up for his father because Emma has been using him for too long. Emma says her family has never been there emotionally for her and has always given her money to keep her away from them. This family hasn’t been in the same room in nine years.
