Die ExWire der True Cross Academy sind schockiert und verängstigt, nachdem sie erfahren haben, dass einer ihrer Mitschüler, Rin Okumura, der Sohn Satans ist. Doch im Moment haben sie dringendere Sorgen als die Frage nach Rins Abstammung: Das linke Auge des unreinen Königs, eines mächtigen Dämons, wurde aus dem tiefen Bergfried der Akademie gestohlen. Nachdem in Kyoto versucht wird, auch das rechte Auge zu stehlen, werden Rin und die anderen ExWires ausgesandt, um das Geheimnis des unreinen Königs und das eigentliche Ziel des Diebes zu ergründen. Während sie bei diesem Auftrag vorerst zusammenarbeiten, hat sich Rin noch nie so weit von seinen Exorzistenkollegen entfernt gefühlt.

The ExWire of True Cross Academy are beset with shock and fear in the aftermath of discovering that one of their own classmates, Rin Okumura, is the son of Satan. But for the moment, they have more pressing concerns than that of Rin's parentage: the left eye of the Impure King, a powerful demon, has been stolen from the academy's Deep Keep. After an attempt is made to steal the right eye in Kyoto as well, Rin and the other ExWires are sent to investigate the mystery behind the Impure King and the ultimate goal of the thief. While this mission has them cooperating for the time being, Rin has never felt more distant from his fellow exorcists. In his attempt to reconcile with them, he undergoes specialized training to control his dark power. However, when the right eye is stolen not long after their arrival, the unthinkable threat of a traitor amongst them leaves them in need of all the power they can get.

Les membres de l’ExWire de l’Académie True Cross sont en proie au choc et à la peur après avoir découvert que l’un de leurs camarades de classe, Rin Okumura, est le fils de Satan. Mais pour l’instant, ils ont des préoccupations plus urgentes que celle de la filiation de Rin : l’œil gauche du Roi Impur, un puissant démon, a été volé dans le Donjon Profond de l’académie. Après une tentative de vol de l’œil droit à Kyoto, Rin et les autres ExWires sont envoyés pour enquêter sur le mystère qui se cache derrière le Roi Impur et le but ultime du voleur. Bien que cette mission les fasse coopérer pour le moment, Rin ne s’est jamais senti aussi éloigné de ses collègues exorcistes. Dans sa tentative de se réconcilier avec eux, il suit un entraînement spécialisé pour contrôler son pouvoir obscur. Cependant, lorsque l’œil droit est volé peu de temps après leur arrivée, la menace impensable d’un traître parmi eux les laisse dans le besoin de tout le pouvoir qu’ils peuvent obtenir.
