四 個 孤 兒 ， 四 個 不 同 的 故 事 ， 卻 在 人 生 不 同 的 交 匯 點 上 相 遇 上 。 戴 福 生 自 幼 喪 父 ， 在 孤 兒 院 渡 過 的 十 多 個 寒 暑 ， 福 生 結 識 了 兩 個 青 竹 馬 的 好 伙 伴 ， 劉 二 索 和 高 慧 婷 。 三 人 相 依 成 長 。 上 進 的 福 生 長 大 後 ， 進 了 一 間 小 型 的 水 電 工 承 辦 公 司 當 了 個 「 科 文 」 。 但 二 索 為 人 懶 惰 ， 每 份 工 都 「 七 日 係 咁 先 」 ， 令 福 生 頭 痛 ， 而 慧 婷 雖 不 用 福 生 為 其 前 途 操 心 ， 但 每 遇 到 感 情 問 題 便 視 福 生 為 「 水 泡 」 ， 而 福 生 亦 樂 於 為 二 人 解 決 問 題 ， 成 為 一 根 燃 亮 他 人 的 火 柴 。 後 福 生 的 公 司 因 經 濟 不 景 而 倒 閉 ， 福 生 決 以 自 已 的 堅 毅 及 拼 搏 精 神 ， 望 能 自 創 一 番 事 業 . . . . . 。 二 索 亦 為 自 已 的 終 生 幸 福 努 力 ， 對 尹 雪 宜 展 開 熱 烈 追 求 。 雪 宜 童 年 時 家 境 富 裕 ， 但 父 母 雙 亡 後 便 成 「 人 球 」 ， 過 著 悲 苦 的 生 活 ， 所 以 自 幼 便 立 志 出 人 頭 地 。 後 與 福 生 等 人 遇 上 。 卻 在 現 實 與 理 想 的 重 重 拆 騰 下 ， 讓 四 人 產 生 種 種 齟 齬 。 但 福 生 每 每 能 燃 燒 自 已 ， 照 亮 他 人 ， 用 熱 誠 和 淚 水 編 織 成 一 段 美 麗 的 人 生 。
