Matsushita will play the lead role of 'Kanai Yuriko', the daughter of a corporate executive and full-time housewife. Although she exceeds in her studies and work, she is incapable of doing any type of housework. 'Yuriko' falls in love with the eldest son of the Hayami family, and gets married thinking they can enjoy a newlywed life on their own. However, her husband's family is poor, and his mother has disappeared, which forces her to face adversity as she settles in with her husband's father and brothers.

金井家大小姐優梨子（松下奈緒飾）夢想結婚，答應了在優雅的餐廳裡戀人早海恭一（井原快彥飾）緊張的求婚。雖然雙方家人的見面並不愉快，但優梨子還是很憧憬婚後的二人生活。可是沒想到婆婆卻失蹤了，無奈的她只能入住全是男性的大家庭。與自己家的生活環境完全不同，但隨著時間的遞增卻對這個家庭越來越有愛，也成為了不可或缺的一分子。
