A housewife is in a state of ambivalence about her children's education and the craze towards private education. The housewife then falls in love with a neighbor who works as a dentist.

對平凡的家庭主婦尹書萊來說，兒子、丈夫是她最大的生活重心，她認為小孩健康快樂長大最好，但夫家卻認為小孩應該加入國際競爭的行列，為此，書萊一家搬到以升學為導向的江南區，但經過入學測試，書萊赫然發現兒子杰兒落後一大截，於是去拜託有升學教母之稱的洪智善為他補習，洪老師感受到書萊的真誠將她視為好友。初到江南，書萊與未曾謀面的金泰浩幾次巧遇，巧的是他也是兒子的新牙醫，常做義診的泰浩主動提出去聖母島為書萊失智的母親治療，從島上回來在船上情不自禁地接吻了，陷入愛情迷惘的書萊後來得知泰浩竟是洪老師的先生，想要結束這段不倫戀，卻被小姑渲染爆發…，被老公趕出家門，她知道自己再也回不了頭了……。
