The comedy features two families of restaurateurs. Both are opening their own restaurant facing each other, in a street in downtown Milan. The Conforti family, Lombard, runs a sophisticated local for wealthy people. The Perrone family, coming from Cilento, instead opens a restaurant of traditional, simple, refined tastes of the rival prefers a cuisine based on good and genuine. The two families will have a conflictive relationship
