8 years ago, Western Civilization visited 19th century Japan. Mechanized dolls and new steam-powered creations began spreading throughout the country. The Wind Gang is a group of doll and steam users who believe in using their creations to violently bring about a new Industrial Era. They attack and destroy the peaceful village of a young doll user named Hiwou one day. Hiwou and his friends escape with a giant doll named Homura. Hiwou now wants to find his father, so that he can help defeat the Wind Gang, and bring peace back to Japan.

Hyou deve combattere, insieme ai fratelli, i Fujin, che utilizzano anch'essi i karakuri, però a scopi maligni.
Hiwou es un niño que lleva una placida vida con sus amigos en su aldea. Un día, una misteriosa organización ataca con unos extraños robots gigantes el pueblo de Hiwou y comienza a conquistar todo el territorio de Japón. Hiwou comenzará con sus amigos una aventura en busca de su padre, quien lucha contra la organización.
Vor acht Jahren brachte der Westen neue Technologien nach Japan. Mechanische Puppen und neue dampfgetriebene Kreationen verteilten sich in ganz Japan. Die Wind Gang ist eine Gruppe von Puppen- und Dampfnutzern, die glauben das sie durch Gewalt eine neue industrielle Ära in Japan auslösen können. Eines Tages attackiert die Wind Gang das friedliche Dorf des jungen Hiwou, der selber dazu im Stande ist die neuartigen Maschienen zu verwenden. Während des Angriff schaffen es Hiwou und seine Freunde mit der riesigen Puppe Homura zu fliehen. Nun begibt er sich auf die Suche nach seinem Vater, sodass er helfen kann die Wind Gang zu besiegen und den Frieden zurück nach Japan zu bringen.

Le Wind Gang est un groupe d'utilisateurs de poupées et de machines à vapeur qui croient en l'utilisation de leurs créations pour provoquer violemment une nouvelle ère industrielle. Un jour, ils attaquent et détruisent le village paisible d'un jeune utilisateur de poupée nommé Hiwou. Hiwou et ses amis s'échappent avec une poupée géante nommée Homura. Hiwou veut maintenant retrouver son père, afin qu'il puisse l'aider à vaincre le Gang du Vent et à ramener la paix au Japon.
