「夫婦は小説より奇なり」明治という激動の時代を駆け抜け、夫婦として成長していく姿を、妻・鏡子の視点から、生き生きとユーモアを交えながら描くエンターテインメント・ホームドラマが登場！夏目漱石没後１００年の年。「吾輩は猫である」「坊っちゃん」「こころ」など今なお夏目漱石の作品は人々に愛されているが、実はその多くは、妻・鏡子との夫婦生活を下敷きに描かれている。頭脳明晰で几帳面、しかしとんでもなく気難し屋の漱石。一方、大らかで、自分の考えをすぐ口にする鏡子。正反対の二人は、時にぶつかり合い、時に支え合いながらも、やがて、かけがえのない家庭を築いていく。
