جيكا (محمود عبدالمغني) شابٌ فقيرٌ حاصلٌ على مؤهلٍ متوسطٍ ،كل حلمه هو الحصول على وظيفةٍ تحفظ كرامته وتضمن له حياةً كريمةً،لكن لا تساعده الظروف. يرصد المسلسل الكثير من القضايا الهامة مثل قضية البطالة والفقر وصعوبة المعيشة بسبب الظروف الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والسياسية في جوٍ درامي واقعي بعض الشيء. تكشف لنا الأحداث الكثير من الجوانب الإنسانية لبطل العمل جيكا ولعائلتة.
