相传黑暗之门内，蕴涵着无穷的邪恶能量。只要有人铸造出黑龙剑，就可以打开黑暗之门，吸取黑暗之门内的邪恶能量。灵山门门主知道这一消息后，密谋夺得黑龙剑的铸造秘籍，秘密铸造黑龙剑。为了，不让黑暗之门被打开，虹猫蓝兔等人为铸造克制他的光明剑，踏上了寻找七样宝物的征途。 一个阴谋已经笼罩森林大地。要想阻止灵山门门主的阴谋、阻止黑暗门打开，依照祖训：在七七四十九天之内，到小和山与光明剑的传人会合，由铸剑人与虹猫一起破解长虹剑上隐藏的密码，找到铸造光明剑的七样必不可少的宝物，最后铸造出光明剑。 路上，层出不穷的意外，被蒙蔽的雪山族圣女雪儿，陷七侠于种种新的困境。众人齐心协力，一次又一次挫败了灵山门门主的阴谋。终于，七侠找到了光明剑的铸造人，获得铸剑的七件宝物并开始准备铸造光明剑。可还是晚了一步，就在这时灵山门门主借助星光，完成对黑龙剑第七次淬火，毁掉了光明剑剑灵，正在大家伤心绝望之际，醒悟的雪儿使出精灵之舞，将剑灵重新融入光明剑，光明剑出世了！虹猫手执光明剑，粉碎了黑龙剑，阻止了黑暗门的打开灵山门主灰飞烟灭，雪儿也因此以白发度过余生。
