花枝俏（张凯丽 饰）的个性相当强势，在家中稳坐大当家的位置，家里大大小小的事情向来都是她说了算。然而这样武断的性格却让一直陪伴着她的丈夫金志扬（韩童生 饰）和闺蜜孙文娟（李菁菁 饰）苦不堪言，终于，两人忍无可忍，选择了离花枝俏而去。 花枝俏无法接受自己的失败，疯狂的寻找着家庭和人生的意义，儿子金波（叶祖新 饰）和女儿金娜（刘涛 饰）成为了她下一个想要掌控的目标。金娜有过一段失败的婚姻，为了女儿再度获得幸福，花枝俏介绍了一个富二代给她认识，可是金娜真正喜欢的，却是一无所有但胸怀大志的青年吴所谓（黄觉 饰）。那边厢，金波邂逅了名为朱丽娅（潘辰 饰）的九十后少女，两人竟然踏入了闪婚的行列。
