とある海に『エグー島』という島が浮かんでいる。この島内の唯一の娯楽は歌姫の歌を聞くことであった。そんなある日、歌姫が失踪してしまう。一体この島はこれからどうなってしまうのか。

In the anime, there exists a floating island in the ocean called Egu Island. On the island, the only entertainment is a songstress named "End of the World." The inhabitants of the island spend their days entranced by her singing. But one day their lives are upended by the disappearance of End of the World. Afterward, the island overflows with anger, doubt, and anxiety. A great war breaks out over End of the World and the Egumi Legacy.
L'anime de son côté se déroule dans un monde où existe une île flottante au milieu de l'océan : Egu Island. Là, une seule forme de divertissement existe : une chanteuse sobrement nommée « Fin du Monde ». Les habitants passent leurs journées à l'écouter – mais un jour leur vie est bouleversée lorsqu'elle disparaît. 故事背景設定在浮在某個海洋上的的「エグー島」。在第一集中，作為島上唯一的娛樂，村民們每天都沉浸在歌姬 End of the World 的歌聲中。然而，這樣寧靜的時光卻因歌姬的失蹤而瞬間瓦解。從這個事件開始，島上充滿了憤怒、猜忌和不安，各種陰謀開始醞釀。而傳說的遺產「EGUMI LEGACY」將決定以 End of the World 為中心的「舔舔大戰爭（ペロペロ大戦争）」的命運。
