Mew Mew Power anime is based on one of Tokyopop's best selling Mangas and is now available in select stores. During her first date with the cutest boy in school, Zoey Hanson is zapped by a mysterious ray that scrambles her DNA with that of the endangered Iriomote wildcat. The next day, Zoey discovers that she has developed the agility (and occasionally the ears and tail) of a cat, as well as the power to transform into a pink-haired superheroine. She and four other girls, each endowed with the genes of a different "Red Data" animal, have been selected for the Mew Mew Project, a top-secret project that aims to protect the Earth from an alien menace. A fõhõsünk Momomiya Ichigo, egy randi alkalmával betéved egy múzeumba, ahol felfigyelnek különleges DNS-ére, amelynek köszönhetõen varázserõt kap, és macskás külsõt. A története nem túl bonyolult, vannak a rosszfiúk, akik ellen harcolni kell, néha bevetnek ellenük egy-két szuper-szörnyet is, de Ichigo és barátnõi hõsiesen harcolnak. És a világ megmentése sajnos nem elég, mert még egy kávézóban is kell dolgoznia, ami valójában a bázisuk. A kávézó két tulajdonosa a két segítõ, akik egyetemisták, és (jaj!) jóképûek is. Vonzzák is a lányközönséget, akiktõl sok-sok munkája van szegény fõhõsünknek. Természetesen Ichigonak nem kell magányosan küzdenie a gonoszok ellen (akik persze mind késõbb kiderül nem is annyira gonoszak).

Protagonista della storia è Strawberry Momomiya, una ragazza di 13 anni. Durante il suo primo appuntamento con Mark Aoyama, a una mostra sugli animali in via d'estinzione, viene colpita da un misterioso raggio che trasferisce nel suo patrimonio genetico il DNA di una specie molto rara di gatto selvatico, il gatto selvatico di Iriomote. Da quel momento Strawberry è in grado di trasformarsi in Mew Berry. I responsabili dell'accaduto sono due ragazzi, Ryan Shirogane e Kyle Akasaka, i quali invitano Strawberry nel loro locale, il Caffè Mew Mew, usato come copertura per il loro importantissimo progetto segreto: il Progetto Mew Mew.

Auf dem Heimweg von einem Date mit ihrem Schwarm Masaya Aoyama trifft Ichigo Momomiya auf 4 Mädchen in ihrem Alter. Bei einem Erdbeben verschmelzen die 5 auf seltsame Weise mit Genen bedrohter Tierarten. Nach diesem Unfall hat Ichigo die Fähigkeit einer Iriomote-Wildkatze. Im rosa Kampfdress und mit Katzenohren ausgestattet, muss sie fortan gegen Chimären (von Alien-Parasiten befallene Tiere) antreten. Mit ihren 4 Mitstreiterinnen ist sie für die Sicherheit der Erde verantwortlich...

Durante seu primeiro encontro com o garoto mais fofo da escola, Zoey Hanson é eletrocutada por um raio misterioso que mistura seu DNA com o do gato selvagem Iriomote ameaçado de extinção. No dia seguinte, Zoey descobre que ela desenvolveu a agilidade (e ocasionalmente as orelhas e cauda) de um gato, bem como o poder de se transformar em uma super-heroína de cabelo rosa. Ela e outras quatro garotas, cada uma dotada de genes de um animal diferente, foram selecionadas para o Projeto Mew Mew, um projeto secreto que visa proteger a Terra de uma ameaça alienígena.

Des extra-terrestres veulent conquérir la Terre en utilisant les animaux mais deux adolescents, Ryo Shirogane et Keichiro Akasaka, tentent de lutter contre ces extra-terrestres depuis leur base secrète, le café Mew Mew. Mais par erreur, ils injectent les gênes d'un animal dans le corps de cinq filles qui deviennent dès lors des super-héroïnes allant combattre ces extra-terrestres.
