In 2010 the pretty village of Wilberfoss near York was home to the Wilsons - 36-year-old Chris, Debs (then 35) and their two black labradors Beth and Susie. Chris spent his working life in the RAF and travelled the troubled hotspots of the world. When he left the air force he thought they would settle down. But it wasn't long before Chris came up with the idea that they should move lock, stock and barrel to the other side of the world.
