This is all the Tom and Jerry shorts, from 1940 to 1967. The first 114 are from the Hanna-Barbera era (1940 – 1958), the next 13 are from the Gene Deitch era (1960 – 1962), and the last 34 are from the Chuck Jones era (1963 – 1967).
Everyone’s favorite slapstick superstars are back! Tom and Jerry star in their first US television series in more than 13 years. Look for the endless rivalry and over the top mayhem that have made Tom and Jerry perennial cartoon favorites. Scheduled to air on The CW Kids (which will be replacing Kids WB when the UPN and WB merge into one network) during a new morning block entitled, "Too Big For Your TV" on Saturday mornings later this fall. While moving to a new house with their owners, Tom Cat and Jerry Mouse get into a chase as usual resulting in Tom nailing Jerry inside his mouse hole with floorboards. Unfortunately, he misses the moving van and is forced to stay in the house after angering (Spike) a nearby bulldog. The house is then demolished the next morning with Tom going back inside to rescue Jerry, leaving them both homeless.
In a haunted and creepy-looking mansion, Tom Cat chases Jerry Mouse as usual while breaking everything in the mansion. Tom's owner, a young wizard named Chip, attempts to make a magical potion using his magic ring until he realizes that it doesn't work. Chip checks the milk carton that he used on the portion, but there is no substitution for the milk of a cow that lives in Calcutta.
While carrying on their usual chases, Tom and Jerry inadvertently stow-away on a spaceship bound for Mars.
A group of jolly pirates are sailing on their ship while all of them are scared of a storm. Meanwhile, the pirates' brave captain, Red Pirate Ron, who speaks in a language only understood by his parrot, warns his pirates to lower the sails. Later, Tom Cat and Jerry Mouse travel aboard the same pirate ship. It is soon revealed that Ron is searching for the "Lost Treasure of the Spanish Mane" and by chance, a wave carries the map to the treasure aboard. Tom hides the map, but is warned by the ghost of the Spanish Mane's captain, Don Diego de Clippershears, that if the map is not returned to its bottle by sunset, a curse will begin.
In an empty opera house, Jerry wishes for a chance to perform - and magically his dream comes true. The little mouse is whisked away to an enchanted kingdom where anything is possible: candy forests, singing snowflakes, even the toys spring to life! Jerry has a great time with his new friends, and when Jerry dances with the music box ballerina, he is as happy as happy can be. Unfortunately, alley cats led by Tom crash Jerry's party, kidnap the music box ballerina and wreak havoc in the holiday kingdom. It's up to Jerry to set things right - and with help from a fellow mouse named Tuffy and more newfound friends, Jerry just may win the day!
